Abstract
All protease inhibitors are competing withthe HIV-1 encoded gag-pol polypeptide precursorat the enzyme substrate binding site.Therefore these compounds may also competewith each other. Merrill, et al. reported invitro antagonism between saquinavir and indinavirat all doses (J Infect Dis 1997;176:265-8).
