Abstract
The recent observational study by Abgrall, et al.reporting that patients with undetectable viral loadswitching from a first protease inhibitor (PI)-containingregimen to an efavirenz (EFV)-containing regimenare more likely to maintain virologic suppressionthan switching to an abacavir or nevirapine(NVP)-containing regimen merits a careful discussion.
