Funding

For publication in AIDS Reviews, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) once the manuscript has been accepted following peer review.

The standard APC is 500 euros (gross), which covers editorial production and publication costs, and can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. Authors who wish to publish their article under open access may do so by paying an APC of 1,200 euros (gross).

Instructions for payment are sent upon the acceptance of the article.

Waiver of Fees: The editor may grant a waiver of Article Processing Charges (APC) if the author or their institution is in a vulnerable or exceptional situation that prevents them from covering the fees.

Requests for a waiver must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission, accompanied by adequate supporting documentation. Submission of such documentation does not guarantee that the waiver will be granted, as the editor reserves the right to approve or deny the request at their discretion.
