Abstract
There is a crisis of emotional well-being and mental health in adolescents and young people in developed countries (Piao et al. Eur Child Adolesc Psychiatry 2022; 31: 1827-45). Although the COVID-19 pandemic has unveiled the high rate and severity of mental disorders in youth, the problem comes from before.
